Ashley Lanting
Ashley Lanting, Associate I, earned a B.A. in International Business from Tunghai University, Taichung, Taiwan. She has an M.A. in Teaching English as an International Language and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Ashley specialized in experimental and quasi-experimental research designs. She has conducted formative and summative evaluations for SERVE, a federally funded regional education laboratory, Michigan Coalition of Essential Schools, a state-funded comprehensive school reform provider, and Kent County Community Reentry, a locally funded prisoner reentry program, among other projects. Her expertise is in school reform, teacher leadership, student performance assessment, youth development, and community health. Ashley is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese. She has published her work in American Evaluation Association and American Educational Research Association documents.
