Priscilla Cortez earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in Government from the University of Texas. She specializes in qualitative data collection and analysis, formative evaluation and process evaluation. Priscilla has experience conducting focus groups, interviews, survey design and analysis, evaluation management and research. She has worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan organizing immigrant communities, and as a Program Assistant in public investment of community art in Detroit. Priscilla has specific interest in community and youth development and hopes to continue working with immigrant populations within the U.S. Priscilla is a bilingual Spanish speaker, with some knowledge of spoken French.

John Seeley is a co-founder of FERA and is currently a Consulting Partner. John has a Ph.D. in Higher Education, a Masters in Comparative Government and a B.A. degree in Political Science. He has over 35 years of experience in conducting evaluations and his work has been published in the United States and internationally. In the late 90s, John was one of six national trainers selected by United Way of America to train United Way agencies in outcomes measurement. Dr. Seeley has conducted evaluations in many parts of the world for Junior Achievement International, Inc. and the International Youth Foundation. He was formerly the President of the Michigan Association for Evaluation and helped to found that organization in the mid-1990s.

Wizdom Powell Hammond has an extensive research and professional experience in Clinical Psychology and Public Health. Her wide-ranging interests and expertise include: men’s health disparities, health services utilization, masculinity and health, cancer screening and survivorship among men, to name a few. She has published and presented her research widely. Wizdom received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2005. Wizdom earned an M.S. degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and an M.P.H. degree from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Wizdom received a number of national and local awards. Currently she is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health in the Department of Health Behavior and Health Education.
