Carol Tice brings over 50 years of experience with innovative, holistic and systems approaches to community development across the lifespan. She served on the US National Commission for the International Year of the Child (1980) and has led Think Tank groups focused on learning across the lifespan, well being in older adults, mentoring, teenage pregnancy prevention, and pathways out of poverty. Carol has pioneered innovative K-12 programs in Chicago’s, Atlanta’s, and Detroit’s inner city neighborhoods. She has received numerous national and local awards (including the Sojourner Truth Award and an Agent of Change Award from AAUW), and is widely published. Currently President and founder of Lifespan Resources Inc, Carol continues to innovate, write and consult.

Wizdom Powell Hammond has an extensive research and professional experience in Clinical Psychology and Public Health. Her wide-ranging interests and expertise include: men’s health disparities, health services utilization, masculinity and health, cancer screening and survivorship among men, to name a few. She has published and presented her research widely. Wizdom received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2005. Wizdom earned an M.S. degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and an M.P.H. degree from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Wizdom received a number of national and local awards. Currently she is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health in the Department of Health Behavior and Health Education.
